Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, prides itself on being a family-oriented organization. The National Council of SHADs is the husbands, brothers, sons, male relatives, and men in the surrounding communities of Sorority members who provide scholarships, serve as role models for the youth, and implement various community service projects. The SHADs are always available to assist the ladies of Eta Phi Beta.

The SHADs:
- Give back to society by participating in local and national service projects.
- Award scholarships each year to help both deserving and needy high school and college students
- Attend semi-annual regional and national convention meetings throughout the US.
