Welcome to the website for Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
Whether you are a Soror, an affiliate, corporate partner, sponsor or visitor, we hope this website provides you with the information that you need to learn more about our Sorority and to stay abreast of the many programs and activities of Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. The Members Only section of this website offers additional information for my sisters.
Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the campus of Lewis Business College in Detroit, MI in 1942.
The vision of our Founders was to promote higher scholastic standards, personal growth, career awareness and to provide opportunities for community service. We strive to achieve the vision of our Founders through the following programs:
Services for the developmentally and intellectually disabled citizens
Scholarships
Services for Children
Career Awareness
Domestic Violence Prevention
Breast Cancer Awareness
Contributions and services for various charities
For over 68 years we have provided services to improve the quality of life of individuals in communities throughout the United States and the Virgin Islands.
We are a family-oriented Sorority. In addition to the Sorors, our auxiliary groups are the Youth Groups and the National Council of Shads. The Youth Groups are the Bee-Ettes, young ladies ages 12-18, the Senords, young men ages 12-18 and our Eta Kids, youth ages 6-11. The National Council of Shads are the husbands of our Sorors.
We collectively strive to live up to the goals of our illustrious, visionary Founders and our motto, "Not For Ourselves, But For Others". We welcome your support and ideas.
Yours in sisterly love,
Loretta Kirk Adair
